FAQ
Question: Why should I rank five candidates on my ballot?
If you rank only one or two candidates and they are eliminated in one of the rounds of voting, your ballot can no longer voice your preferences. You would no longer have any say between candidates who you find more acceptable and those you find less acceptable. That means you lose influence in later rounds. This may result in a polarizing candidate like Cuomo being elected with support from a narrow base.
Question: Is Cuomo really that bad?
YES. Among many things, he is incompetent. That's why there are so many New Yorkers against Cuomo. CQuID reminds you to DREAM.

CQuID developed a questionnaire that that was sent to the candidates. The candidates answered the questionnaire and the responses were circulated to CQuID members.
At the next monthly meeting, we discussed the responses from each of the candidates, weighed pros and cons, and ensured that the ranked choice voting process would be clear.
We held our vote using the website rcv123.org. Members were given one week to express their list of preferences; votes were tabulated using ranked choice voting, just as in the mayoral primary.
The Executive Board met to certify the rankings of the candidates and discussed the timeline for the endorsements. Club members were canvassed for testimonials for all five of our endorsed candidates.
